Halkapınar (İzmir Metro)
The Halkapınar Metro Station (Turkish: ''Halkapınar Istasyonu'') is a metro station on the Izmir Metro. The station was built in 1999 and opened in 2000. The station is a part of the Halkapınar Transportation Center where connections are available to the Turkish State Railways and ESHOT, İZULAŞ bus services. The İzmir Metro has a maintenance facility next to the station as well.
==Station Layout==
The station is right next to the Halkapınar Railway Station and the Halkapınar Bus Terminal. The station is in between the two and there is a footbridge, that connects the 3 stations together. The station has 2 island platforms and 4 tracks. Tracks 1 and 2 are for westbound trains, while tracks 3 and 4 are for eastbound trains. There is also a connection to the maintenance facility next to the station.
